The Bloodline, as usual, found themselves on the winning side as they defeated Kevin Owens and Randy Orton at Backlash. Although, at one point, it looked like Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga were going to lose, they had a backup plan ready in the form of Tonga Loa. He came from under the ring and pulled the referee out before he could complete the 3-count. However, the newest member of The Bloodline didn’t execute his part the way he would have wanted to.
A fan took to X and shared a video clip that showed Tonga Loa having difficulty getting out from under the ring. This created a hilariously awkward situation for the referee, as he had to improvise and pull himself out of the ring. The video surfacing online soon caught fans’ attention as they mocked him for missing his cue in his debut.
The match between The Bloodline and the duo of Kevin Owens and Randy Orton quickly turned into an all-out brawl. However, SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis came out and changed this match into a Street Fight. After all four superstars put each other through an ordeal, Loa’s interference completely swung the momentum towards the dominant faction.
With his inclusion in The Bloodline family, they looked more dangerous than ever. Even Paul Heyman hasn’t been able to stop Solo Sikoa and his evil plans to establish his version of the faction since Roman Reigns disappeared. After winning their first match under the new leadership of the 31-year-old star, it will be interesting to see who will be on their target list next.
Another member of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa’s family teases joining The Bloodline with a cryptic message
The Bloodline stood tall at Backlash after Tama Tonga’s brother, Tonga Loa, made his WWE debut and helped them win. Seeing his two brothers join forces in the Stamford-based company, another family member, Hikuleo, also teased joining the faction.
Hikuleo took to social media and sent a cryptic message with an ‘eyes’ emoji, seemingly hinting at his debut in WWE to be with his brothers. The trio was part of one of the most famous factions in the world, The Bullet Club. At first, he pledged his alliance to the leader, Jay White, when he kicked out Tama and Loa, but soon turned on him to join his brothers again.
He found some success in the tag team division, becoming the IWGP Tag Team Champion and Strong Openweight Tag Team Champion with his current partner, El Phantasmo, in NJPW. According to several reports, WWE wanted to sign Hikuleo around a year ago but failed to do so. However, given the current Bloodline saga, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the promotion sign the 33-year-old.
