Man gets life in prison for deadly Nampa stabbing

CALDWELL, Idaho (KBOI) A man convicted of stabbing to death another man early last year has been sentenced to life in prison. According to Idaho court records, James P. Mancuso was sentenced Tuesday. He will have to serve a minimum of 10 years behind bars before he's eligible for parole.

According to Idaho court records, James P. Mancuso was sentenced Tuesday. He will have to serve a minimum of 10 years behind bars before he's eligible for parole.

Mancuso was convicted of killing 30-year-old Robert Stevens in the 800 block of West Kinghorn Drive in Nampa and fleeing police for three months.

Stevens died March 10 of a stab wound to the abdomen.

Ashley Ford was charged for allegedly harboring Mancuso. Police say Ford was present during the stabbing and fled with Mancuso.
